Star Wars in Concert--nothing better!
John Williams, integral to the various storylines, showcased the music of the images which were reported to be almost 3 stories high, the tallest to go on tour. The live musicians were on screen at times, or a specific instrument, but the whole effect of how classical music was brilliantly composed and used was clear to everyone there for characters, mood, and story advancement. An actor from the film, Anthony Daniels, who played a beloved character, was there in person to supply narration of the various segments, welcomed by young and old. This event was unique in combining a live orchestra with carefully chosen and edited scenes from all 6 Invincible: A Tribute to Michael Jackson movies. Fans of the Star Wars saga and the music, if you weren't there, you missed a great event that cannot be duplicated.
Great Performance
Fantastic job by LRB evoking memories! The phenomenal female musicians accompanying Rod Stewart were great. Disappointed in the venue, it was difficult to see the performers on stage due to the lack of a slope in the seating area despite the large screens. Somewhat surprised that he didn't return for an encore, it seemed like he was just DONE with the place after mentioning the lack of electricity backstage and the breezy fans at the front of the stage. Spoiled by Paul McCartney's three-hour performance, this one hour and forty minutes seemed meager.
Usher-Trey Songz = Booyah
"A great show was put on by Trey Songz, despite not many of his songs being well known. He connected well with the audience, even calling out people by their clothes, which was a nice type of interaction to see. The typical 'hey Chicago' was missing, which was well done.
Invincible: A Tribute to Michael Jackson was also awesome, with lots of costume changes. The videos in the background during the changes and the show were liked. Great pyrotechnics and acrobatic stunts. Clearly, a lot of work has been put in to make his concert special. A great mix of songs. The arena was rocking and singing by the middle and end, even though it started slower.

Just okay
Years ago, I took my young daughter to see the Dixie Chicks when they came to Atlanta for "Taking the Long Way." Loved the show - fierce and nonstop dancing, absolutely amazing on-your-feet. She was 7-8 years old and knew every song's words. As a 23 year old, took her again and it was NOT the same experience. Too many slow and depressing songs. People want to have fun at a concert, not that they're bad songs! We left early because we knew the playlist with about 5 songs left. Respect their right to use their platform for politics, but it doesn't make good entertainment. A little much when 5 songs are angry ballads about your cheating husband. Loved their talent and hearing some of the new and old songs, but it was a bit boring overall. People were leaving early with us.
Concert good venue horrible
"I am handicapped and could not afford good seating and had the grass seating. The singers were good but the venue needs a lot of improvements to it. And no bathrooms were up there either, I would have had to go back down all the steps to get to the bathrooms. For all the money we pay for tickets, it rained the whole time and it was just a miserable concert. And there was no handicapped accessible way to get there, I had to be carried up three flights of stairs to get to the top where there was pavers to then try to roll on and they were uneven. Just was no fun and wont go to that venue again."
